Roasted Turkey- Curcan La Cuptor
My first time when I cooked turkey. A whole one :). It was delicious !!
A fost prima data cand am gatit curcan. A fost tare bun!!
Servings: 10-12
Total Time : 3:30 Hr
INGREDIENTS:
Turkey(4kg)
3 carrots
3 potatoes
1 onion
garlic cloves
salt
pepper
paprika
oil
water
honey
SAUCE:
Cranberry sauce(400gr)
just a few drops of balsamic dressing
PREPARATION:
Preheat the oven at 180, meanwhile start to peel the vegetables. Wash the turkey, wipe it with paper towel, and place inside of it carrots, potatoes and onion. Slice the garlic cloves and make some wholes in turkey from place to place and insert the garlic.
Season the turkey with salt, pepper and paprika. Place it in a tray and add some oil and some water. Cover the tray with kitchen foil and drop it in the oven. Have a look at it from time to time, cook it for 3 hours, when is almost done, put some honey on the turkey and leave it in the oven for another 10-15 min.
We had it with some cranberry sauce and balsamic dressing, all together mixed with a blender.

INGREDIENTE:
Un curcan (4kg)
3 morcovi
3 cartofi
o ceapa
o capatana de usturoi
sare
piper
boia de ardei
ulei
apa
miere
SOS:
sos de merisoare
crema balsamica
MOD DE PREPARARE:
Incingem cuptorul la 180. Ne apucam sa curatam legumele, spalam curcanul si il uscam cu servetele de hartie. Taiem cateii de usturoi feliule, crestam curcanul din loc in loc si punem feliile de usturoi in crestaturi. Condimentam curcanul cu sare, piper si boia, apoi il punem in tava. In tava punem putin ulei si apa, acoperim cu folie si dam la cuptor 3 ore. Ne uitam la el din cand in cand , cand aproape este gata il ungem cu miere si il mai lasam 10-15 min.
Noi l-am servit cu sos de merisoare si crema balsamica, amestecate si mixate la blender.
